Three IS militants arrested for attacks in Delhi and UP

Delhi Police arrested three IS militants who were plotting to carry out a terrorist attack in Delhi, NCR and Uttar Pradesh. All three terrorists were planning to flee to Pakistan, carrying out the terrorist act. Delhi Police has exposed terrorist activity in the capital before Republic Day.

Three terrorists arrested from Wazirabad in Delhi: Khwaja Moin, Abdul Samad and Syed Ali Nawaz were to carry out terrorist attacks in capital Delhi, NCR and Uttar Pradesh. In the interrogation, the militants confessed that they were also involved in the murder of a leader named Suresh Kumar in 2014. After that, all three were preparing to flee to Pakistan.

The Delhi Police Special Cell arrested the trio. According to police sources, all three were operating for IS. Police have launched further inquiries as three others are also likely to be involved in the conspiracy. The terrorists, who were detained in Nepal, said the three accused were on the run.

All three terrorists are from Tamil Nadu. All three were absconding and came to Delhi via UP on their way to Nepal. There was a conspiracy to flee to Pakistan by terrorist attacks in Delhi. In 2014, a total of six accused were absconding for the murder of a Tamil Nadu leader.

According to police, all three received inputs using an online platform. Security forces have been alerted to the Nepal border by fearing that terrorists hiding in Nepal would come to Delhi earlier in the day.
