Ritesh Deshmukh will make a biopic of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

The trend of historical films is currently in Bollywood. Ajay Devgn has decided to make a period film. His 'Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior' is due for release soon. In which he will be seen in Tanaji's character while Kajol is in the role of his wife.

Ajay said in an interview that if a film was made on Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, he would select Ritesh Deshmukh for the character of Shivaji. The actor also said, "I think Ritesh is currently working on a biopic of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. And I am sure he will make the perfect film. ”However, the actor did not give much information about the film.

However, Ritesh has not officially announced the film. Ritesh will play the lead character in the film while his wife, Genelia, is producing the film.
