Kolkata, Ta. January 27, 2020, Monday

The central government has said that the CAA has been implemented all over the country and no state can refuse to implement it. In West Bengal, a resolution was passed in the Legislative Assembly in opposition to the CAA. At the same time, the resolution passed by the CAA. Bengal became the fourth state.

First, the state of Kerala had passed a resolution in the legislature in opposition to the CAA. After which Punjab-Rajasthan also joined it and now West Bengal has also passed a resolution opposing the CAA. The central government, on the other hand, said that the implementation of the CAA is compulsory for all states as it has been passed through Parliament and has since become law.

Rajnath Singh said that this is a constitutional crisis, the state governments are passing a resolution against the law. Even the central government cannot ignore the state governments in this way. At present the state governments are passing a resolution against the CAA in the country while the central government is saying that the state governments cannot refuse to implement the CAA.

On the other hand, a large human chain was observed in Kerala as opposed to the CAA. About 70 million people formed the human chain. Even in Kolkata, the human chain was made up to 11 km by taking the waves in hand. Nearly 70 lakh people, including the Chief Minister, joined the human chain in Kerala. This human chain was observed for several km.
