The 71st Republic Day is being celebrated across the country today. In the meantime, Indian Army personnel have been submerged in Ladakh at a height of 17000 feet.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said during a rally on Saturday that for the first time since Article 370 was removed, the Republic Day would be celebrated in Kashmir with an open mind and enthusiasm.
President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people on the 71st Republic Day.
