Kabus bin Saeed, the Sultan of Oman, died

The Sultan of Oman, Kabus bin Saeed, was officially announced Saturday morning after a prolonged illness.

After opening the closed cover of his will he will know who will become his successor.

Kabus bin Saeed may be named as the longest-ruling sultan in the Middle East and Arab countries. He acquired the ax of power in 1970 by ousting his father (father).

Sultan Bin Saeed's contribution to transform Oman and modernize it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi described India as a good friend, paying tribute to him and said his departure was deeply saddened by India.
