India's victory in the international arena: EU will not vote against CAA

New delhi date. 30 January 2020, Thursday

India has had a shining success in the international arena on the issue of the new citizenship law. The European Union will not vote on a proposal against the law.

The European Union criticized the law enacted in India last week and called it discriminatory. India had strongly opposed this European Union's one and a half wisdom. India said that this is our personal and internal matter. The European Union has nothing to do with this.

India and its allies created enormous pressure on the European Union. As a result, Thursday's vote against the CAA proposal was deferred. The union has now formally announced that the voting will take place in March.

Applauding the decision of the European Union, India said that the work of India's allies had come to a halt and Pakistan's melee intent was found in the dust.

India had stated in clear terms that the law was made by the President's signature after being approved democratically by both Houses of Parliament and was fully in line with the Indian Constitution, so the European Union did not have to bend it.

The proposal was brought by British MP Shafqa Muhammad and was to be voted on Thursday after discussion on Wednesday.
