Yemeni supporters will be retaliated against terrorist attacks: Yemen President

Sana, Ta. January 20, 2020, Monday

More than 100 people have been killed and several injured in Yemen's missile and drone attacks. The attack was carried out by the Houthi organization of the Shiite Muslim rebels in Yemen.

According to information released by the Syrian army, missiles were fired at a mosque in Morabi, killing 100 people on the spot and injuring the injured at a local hospital. The area that was attacked is also known as the Yemeni military camp.

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that we were condemning the attack, saying that the casualties included both the military and thus the civilians. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Marabi. The number of casualties is more than 160 and the mortality rate may increase as the condition of many is severe.

Although the Houthis have not yet been blamed for the attack, most of the attacks are carried out by Houthi organizations in Yemen. Just two months ago, Houthi organizations fired rockets at Saudi Arabia's largest oil company, injuring hundreds of millions.

However, not only Saudi Arabia, but also the Yemeni government and the military are at odds with the Houthi organizations. The attack comes at a time when the Yemeni government has launched an attack on Houthi rebels and ordered killings.

Yemeni President Abedarbo Mansour said the terrorists had killed innocent people with utmost carelessness. Yemen also blamed Iran for the attack, claiming that the Houthi organization was being supported by Iran. He also claimed that such attacks were hampering Yemen's development.

There are reports that more than 80 soldiers were killed as the attack targeted a mosque in the army camp. When the attack happened, Yemeni soldiers were praying at the mosque here. Yemen has long been the site of civil war.
