The assassination of Begalluru social activist and journalist Gauri Lankesh has finally taken place in Jharkhand.
The assassin Rishikesh Diwakar is a resident of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He was hiding his identity at a petrol pump in Kataras area of Jharkhand.
The Bengaluru Police Special Investigative Team was constantly searching for the killer and was catching the trail.
It is to be recalled here that on the fifth of September 2017, Gauri was assassinated by a bullet near his house.
According to a report, Rishikesh is a member of the Hindu organization. The organization he was involved with had made a list of who to kill.
Rishikesh will be produced in court today.
