Freezing cold in northern India, minus eight degrees in Himachal, snowfall forecast

In North India the cold care is unchanged and the temperature is still going down. Delhi's cold broke the record of 119 years on Monday and similar trend was observed on Tuesday. While the Delhi Meteorological Department predicted some relief in Delhi.

According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi will not have any freezing temperatures till January 4 and the temperature may rise. However, snowfall has begun in some states where the cold may remain unchanged.

Himachal Pradesh is likely to receive snowfall from December 31 to January 1. Temperatures had reached zero in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The temperature was also one degree in the Seeker of Rajasthan.

Due to the foggy atmosphere, there are 34 trains running late, including the Chennai Nizamuddin Durant Express which was running eight hours late. Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express was also six hours late. Similarly, the Novara New Delhi Durantu Express was running three hours late.

Lucknow recorded a low of 0.7 degrees Celsius while Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh had a low of zero. In Haryana's Narahaul, the lowest temperature in the state was 2.3 degrees Celsius.

While Amritsar in Punjab had a low of 3.4 degrees and Ludhiana with a low of 4.1 degrees. It was extremely cold, with a low temperature of 1 degree Celsius, in Rajasthan's Seeker, which led to severe hailstorms.

Kufri, Manali, Solan and Kalpa of Himachal Pradesh had a low temperature while Killog here recorded a low of minus 8.2 degrees. Cold wave in Kashmir has had an impact on people's lives.

However, there was a slight increase in temperature in the valley at night which gave people some relief. Srinagar, which recorded a low of minus six degrees on Tuesday, recorded a high of 3.2 degrees on Tuesday, bringing some relief.
