President's Address - These decades are important to India

The President said, in the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century, I am delighted to be addressing a joint session of Parliament. I wish you all the best again with a Happy New Year

I wish members the best of luck in witnessing this historic euphoria. These decades are very important. This decade will mark 75 years of our independence. With my government's efforts

In the last five years, this decade and century has been a strong foundation for India.

The President said that the government has received a mandate to build a new India. The government passed several other bills, including the triple divorce bill and the Consumer Protection Bill. India's credit to the world has increased internationally due to government efforts. India's ranking has also improved. On this occasion, President Ram Nath Kovind termed the decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as historic.

He said that with the removal of Article 370, the people of Kashmir joined the flow of development. The people of Kashmir also got the same rights as other citizens of the country. At present, there are incidents of violence in the country under protest against the citizenship law and NRC. The President then said that the violence in the name of protest weakens the country.

Talking about India's economy, President Ram Nath Kovind said that India is the third largest start-up economy in the world today. Over 27,000 start-ups have been recognized so far under the campaign in the Start Up campaign.

President Ramnath Kovind spoke of the impact of the e-NAM, an online national market for government farmers. He made the positive point that in the country, there are more than 65 million farmers and over one lakh businessmen. The President said that work is currently underway to connect more than 400 Mandis in the country.

Citizenship laws and the NRC are facing fierce opposition in many states. At that time, President Ram Nath Kovind addressed citizenship law during his address in a joint session of Parliament. The President said that India has always believed in sovereignty. In an atmosphere created after the partition of India in 1947, President Mahatma Gandhi said that those who cannot stay in Pakistan can come to India.

Pujya Bapu's same views were supported by several political parties. I am glad that both houses of Parliament have fulfilled Bapu's desire to create a citizenship research law. All the NDA MPs, including PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, who were present in the house, made this statement on the issue of citizenship law by the President.
