Arvind Krishna of Indian clan becomes the boss of IBM's Rs 9 lakh crore US company

The original Indian clan, Arvind Krishna, became the boss of IBM's US $ 900,000 crore company. Arvind Krishna will accept responsibility from IBM's current CEO, Virginia Rometty Kane.

Shri Arvind Krishna will take over as CEO of IBM from 6th April this year. He is currently 57 years old.

Currently Mr. Krishna is working as Senior Vice President of Cloud and Cognitive Software at IBM. His current responsibilities include IBM Cloud, IBM Security and Cognitive Application Business as well as IBM Research. Previously, he also successfully held the role of General Manager of the Development and Manufacturing Organization of IBM System and Technology Group. He also assumed responsibility for some of IBM's business related data.

Arvind Krishna joined IBM in 1990. The current CEO, Virginia Rometty, said that Arvind Krishna is the best person to be my successor. Arvind is also a Best Technologist who developed some of our best technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Quantum Computing and Blockchain.
