America's opposition to Trump's order to kill Suleimani

Washington, Ta. January 3, 2020, Friday

Republicans on the other side have praised Trump's order while Democrats have accused Trump of dragging America toward war. Former Trump cabinet colleague and former Indian-origin diplomat Nikki Haley supported Trump's decision, saying that Qasim Suleiman was a fanatic terrorist and his hands were painted with the blood of Americans.

All who want peace and justice should praise Solomon's death. South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham tweeted, "I applaud President Trump's adventurous move against the Iranian attack.

On the other side, Senator Bernie Sanders, who was involved in the presidential race in the Democratic primary, described Trump's move as "dangerous provocative." The Foreign Ministry also made it clear that no information was given to the US Congress before the attack on Solomon.

Trump promised to put an end to endless wars, but his move would lead us to another war. House Speaker and prominent Democrat Nancy Pelosi warned that the United States could not endanger the lives of thousands of Americans, diplomats and others, following provocative and foolish acts.

American Senator Chris Murphy tweeted that there was no doubt that Suleimani was the enemy of America. But the question arises whether the US killed him without any consultation? Solomon was Iran's second most powerful man. This kind of attack is pushing us toward a potential war.
