Vodafone Idea: Kumar Mangalam Birla

Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of renowned industrial group Aditya Birla Group, said that if the government does not provide relief, Vodafone Idea, the leading telecom company in the country will be closed.

As per the data released by TRI, Vodafone Idea currently has 37.5 million customers. Under these circumstances, these customers may face severe problems. The Vodafone company also recently made a statement that there would be a lot of dependence on government-provided relief to keep the business going. The ruling that the court has given in the matter of AGR (Adjusted Gross Revenue) has had a significant impact on the industry.

Meanwhile, in a program, Kumar Mangalam Birla has clearly stated that if the government does not provide relief, the company can lock up.

Vodafone Idea Supreme Court has ordered to pay Rs 39,000 crore through AGR. As a result, Vodafone Idea reported a loss of Rs 50921 crore in the second quarter. Even before the announcement of the result, Aditya Birla Group had made a statement saying that the company, which does not provide relief for the payment of the amount, may have to go bankrupt.
