New delhi date. 8 December 2019, Sunday

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has advised Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on naming India as rap capital without anonymity.

Naidu said that we should not make our country's name bad. Thus, we should not bring politics in the face of cruelty. Bringing in new laws is also not a solution to the problem and the legal battle of Nirbhaya is an example of this.

Addressing a program in Pune, the Vice-President said, "In the Indian tradition, we treat women as mothers and sisters." It's a shame that something has happened in some parts of the world these days and it's a challenge for us. The solution to this is to bring in a new law. I am against the introduction of a new law or bill. We brought the bill for Nirbhaya. what happened? Has the problem been resolved?

India's name is getting worse. Somebody said, India is becoming the capital of things, I don't want to fall into it. We should not defame our country's name. We should not do politics on such cruelty.
