'There is no deficiency in politics': Babulal Marandi of JVM

The current phase of voting in the Ranchi Jharkhand assembly elections seemed to be very crisis-filled. Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-JVM leader Babulal Marandi, while talking to the media, made suggestive exclamations saying that there is no dearth in politics, no permanent friends or enemies.

In the Jharkhand assembly of 81 seats, the BJP was leading in only 29 seats while the Congress and JMM front were leading in more than 39 seats. Babulal Marandi's party was on a good lead.

He said that the voters, in fact, are the kingmaker. There are no concrete results yet. We will formulate future strategies once the results are clear. It is not right to say anything until all the results have come. It is like shooting arrows in the dark.

He said that in 2014, our party did not break. Right now, the BJP will enjoy its fruits. We are fighting this issue in the Supreme Court. Had our party not broken, the BJP government could not have been formed.

It should be remembered here that the BJP won 37 seats in the 2014 elections, but when the five members of the JVM joined the BJP, a single-handed majority formed the BJP and the BJP formed its own government.
