Petrol-diesel price hikes after onion: crossing Rs 75 for the first time in Delhi

New delhi date. December 9, 2019, Monday

On the one hand, the public has to spend up to Rs 200 to buy onions, and on the other, the bad news has come that now the price of petrol and diesel will also increase.

In some places, people were also deceived by voting themselves. Today, the price of a liter of petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 75.

Oil makers said the price was hiked to meet rising costs.

According to the daily price statement of the public sector oil companies, the price of one liter of petrol in capital city Delhi today was Rs 75. Similarly, the price of diesel was also increased. Diesel was up five paise. The price of diesel was Rs 66.04 per liter in the capital.

Prices continued to rise steadily after 9 November. The price rise in India was also due to a problem arising from oil producing companies in Saudi Arabia. Changes in prices in the international arena are responsible for the price increase in India.
