Opposing the Citizenship Act, Parineeti Chopra was removed from an honorable position

Parineeti Chopra tweeted a few days ago protesting against the citizenship law. There were ongoing protests in the country and paralyzing students in Jamia. Supporting these students, Parineeti wrote, "Citizens' Amendment Bill should be forgotten if citizens are to express their views every time this happens. Innocent people are being beaten, which is going terribly wrong."

Following this there is now news that Parineeti has suffered punishment for this protest. He has been removed from Haryana's 'Betty Bachao Betty Padha' brand ambassador. The matter has been debated, but it has not been officially announced.

Projector Direct said that "Parineeti is no longer our brand ambassador."
