NPR and NRC interconnected: Congress

The Congress on Tuesday alleged that the NPR that the central government has brought is the first step in implementing the NRC. So first apply NPR and later apply NRC. At the same time, Congress demanded that the government clarify the issue.

The Congress claimed that Amit Shah was saying that both NRC and NPR had nothing to do with the fact that Amit Shah was lying. Amit Shah is now speaking the same kind of lie that Modi spoke about at the NRC in Ram Lila Maidan.

Congress leader Ajay Maken said the Home Ministry had made it very clear in its annual report that NPR was the first step of the NRC. The government itself is linking NPR and NRC. A similar statement was made by the then Home Minister in 2014.

Maken said that if the government is going to implement NPR at the time of the census in 2021, it must be opposed. Informing about Amit Shah's statement, he said that people are angry now so Amit Shah is lying.
