The hearing on the plea of guilty Pawan Kumar Gupta in the Nirbhaya gangreap case has been postponed today, and the hearing will now take place on January 24. Pawan's lawyer AP Singh sought time to introduce the new document. On which the court avoided hearing.
After hearing, it is believed that wind will no longer be hanged until January 24. Pawan, who had earlier filed an application in the Delhi High Court, has identified himself as a minor. In his petition, Pawan said he was a minor in 2012 and should be treated under juvenile justice law.

In his plea, Pawan Gupta, who was hanged in the case, claimed in his petition that he was a minor at the time of the incident in December 2012 and the trial court had wrongly acted against him. The petition also states that the trial court has upheld their rights as a minor.
