Navy jets can no longer use Facebook

New Delhi, 30 Dec 2019, Monday

It was learned that no Indian Navy officer or jawan can now use smart phones in warships or submarines.

Recently, the enemy of seven naval forces was captured in the army of the country with some sensitive information using social media. So the Navy had to make a decision that was terribly harsh, a military spokesman said.

It should be remembered here that on the 20th of the current month, Andhra Pradesh police arrested seven Navy personnel using social media to deal with the enemy's army. These people were giving some sensitive information of the Indian Navy to Shatradesh and were caught with color.

The Crime Branch of the police, along with detectives from the Navy's Intelligence and Central Intelligence, conducted an operation called Operation Dolphins Nose, and seized a spy scandal driven by Navy personnel.

The decision was taken by the Navy after discussions with Defense Department superiors and military chiefs.

So now no jawans or officers associated with the Navy can carry smart phones or use Facebook or other social media on sailors and submarines.
