Jharkhand wind of change: BJP's rule is gone, the Mahagathbandhan is in power

My state's labor will no longer prove citizenship but will stand in line with MGNREGA: future CM

Jharkhand Assembly election results have been announced, BJP has lost power in Jharkhand while the party here is going to form a coalition government of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress, RJD.

Looking at the final figures of the results, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and the Congress coalition have got more than 45 seats out of the 81 assembly seats which is enough to form the government while the BJP can get only 25 seats here. With this victory, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief and tribal leader Hemant Soren is about to become the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

The victory has been achieved only because of the propaganda carried out between Hemant Soren and the coalition's citizens. On the other hand, the BJP has lost one more state. The BJP's traditional face here was Raghubar Das, who is not a tribal while the star campaigner for the coalition was the tribal leader Hemant Soren. Following this victory, Hemant Soren said that this victory would usher in a new era in Jharkhand.

I thank the people of Jharkhand for giving us a clear majority. Hemant Soren is the son of former chief minister Cebu Soren. Hemant also recalled his father Sibu Soren after the win and said that the victory was to fulfill the dreams and hopes of Sibu Soren. A new era of this state is about to begin.

Hemant Soren said that the public had given a nod to the NRC of the government, earlier applied the notation and placed it in the lines while now the NRC wants to apply and stand in the lines. Where the laborers prove their citizenship, they will now stand in line with MGNREGA and prove their citizenship.

Hemant Soren is a hero among the tribes

Hemant Sore was led by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and the Congress coalition. Hemant Soren's strategy of campaigning has come, and he is credited with the victory. Hemant Soren is a prominent leader among the tribes.

He is the son of former Chief Minister Cebu Soren. 44-year-old Hemant Soren has no special degree but is a very prominent leader in the tribes. He stepped into politics in 2005 with the assembly election. Although they were defeated by Stephen Marandi, revenge changed in 2009 after the death of elder brother Durga. Hemant Soren took the place of Durga and came to the party.

Hemant Soren was also elected to the Rajya Sabha from 2009 to 2010. He became the Deputy Chief Minister in the government of Arjun Munda; in 2013 he became the Chief Minister at an early age. However, he remained in the post of Chief Minister for only a year.

In January, Hemant Soren began to form coalitions with parties like the Congress and the RJD. The publicity also did much at the local level and avoided big rallies, took helicopters to publicity and even reached areas where vehicles were difficult to reach. Now he is going to be the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Raghubar Das maintained the CM's record of defeat

Jharkhand's election results are staggering too, as the local BJP leader, who had a local leader Raghuvar Das here, has lost the election. Raghuvar Haas has lost his rival Surya Roy from the Jamshedpur seat despite being the Chief Minister. Other BJP leaders have also lost.

Surya Rai contested as an independent candidate and defeated Raghuvar Das. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Hemant Soren won two seats, Baraheti and Dumka.

On the first seat, they defeated the BJP candidate by 25 thousand while the second seat defeated the BJP candidate by 13 thousand votes. Jharkhand's Congress president Rameshwar Orao also won.

On the other hand, two BJP ministers were also lost, including Labor Minister Raj Palivar. While Jharkhand has a history that the Chief Ministers have faced defeat in most assembly elections here. Sibu Soren lost in 2008, Babulal Marandi lost both seats in 2014, Arjun Munda, who was CM three times, also lost in 2014. In 2014, the former Chief Minister Madhukoda also lost.

Similarly, if we look at the defeat of the BJP in the rallies that Amit Shah did, the BJP has lost five such seats. On the other hand, the Congress candidate was defeated in one of the meetings held by Rahul Gandhi but won by four seats. Most of Hemant Soren's meetings were successful and most won seats.

Another brother Rajan Singh's son Niraj Singh was murdered by Sanjeev Singh, son of Suryadev Singh. Neeraj and Sanjeev were uncles' sons. In 2014, Sanjeev Singh won the Zariya seat on BJP ticket. Congress gave ticket to Neeraj Singh. Neeraj was shot dead after the election.

BJP had given a ticket to his wife Ragini on a Zaria seat while Sanjeev Singh was in jail for murder. So the Congress gave a ticket to Niraj Singh's wife and Ragini Derani Purnima. Zurya's meeting was discussed as there was a battle between the two sons of Suryadev Singh. In this hyperfile election, Derani Purnima has defeated Jaithani Ragini by 4913 votes. Along with that, Zurnia's meeting Purnima has taken over from Jeth and husband's killer Sanjeev Singh. Purnima received 44,599 votes. While Ragini received 39,686 votes. Surajdev Singh, a native of Baliya in Uttar Pradesh, dominated the area after independence by running coal mines in Dhanbad, Zaria. Surya Dev Singh also became a politician after winning the assembly elections from this area.
