Indian Ambassador to Austria Renu Pal withdrawn after allegations of economic turmoil

The Indian government had called back Indian Ambassador to Austria Renu Pal as soon as it was implemented. There are allegations of economic turmoil against Renu.

The Central Vigilance Commission had informed the Foreign Department about the economic malpractice of Renu Pal. The Foreign Department ordered the molecule to be returned on December 9th.

Renu is said to have rented a house worth Rs 1.5 lakh a month.

He also alleged that some other economic malpractices were being committed. Renu is a 1988 batch Foreign Service officer. Even so, his term in Austria was coming to an end next month. Earlier, the foreign department had called them back.

There was economic mismanagement of the Renu Political VAT refunds and other excuses. On receipt of the complaint, officials of the Central Vigilance Commission traveled to Vienna in September and investigations there revealed that the allegations against Renu were true.

The Commission, on its return, made the Foreign Department aware. The Foreign Department immediately took action. Renu returned home on Sunday evening. All powers were withdrawn from her ear.
