Everyone born in Hindustan is a Hindu: Mohan Bhagwat

Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, said, "We believe that every person born on the land of Hindustan is a Hindu." Every citizen must worship the homeland.

'We consider every person born on this earth as a Hindu. 130 million citizens of the country are Hindus. We do not consider anyone alien or paraka. Bhagwat said that everyone who believes in Bharatmata as their homeland, who loves the water, land, jungle, sky or fauna of this country as a part of India, is a Hindu for us.

On the issue of misconceptions and rumors circulating about the new law on NRC and citizenship, he said that anyone who loves the land of this country is Hindustani, Hindu in terms of the language, religion, customs of every person.

He said that Indian culture is based on the principle of bringing everyone together. A tolerant culture like the Indian culture, which is believed to be tolerant of empathy, is not to be found anywhere else in the world. Bhagwat was addressing the Vijay Sankalp Sabha of the Sangh held at Sunder Nagar Stadium in Hyderabad. Twenty thousand members of the Sangh were present in the meeting.

Bhagwat Mukhal rained down on me the factors under which people are spreading violence and rumors at the bottom of the new citizenship law and criticized such factors. He said that people need to understand that their selfish motives are behind such violence because of the factors within them.
