Mayawati, the BSP president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister, said that the police of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi should get inspiration from the Hyderabad police.
Earlier, BJP's Uma Bharti had also made such a bid. Hyderabad police on Thursday night shot four people accused of gang raping a veterinary doctor in Hyderabad on National Highway 44.

Mayawati alleges that while the atrocities against women are increasing in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath's government is falling asleep.
Mayawati also alleged that the offenders were being treated like a government guest in Uttar Pradesh. Police from Uttar Pradesh and Delhi should seek inspiration from Hyderabad police as to what to do with the perpetrators of hate crime.
