Lucknow, Ta. December 29, 2019, Sunday

Akhilesh Narayan Singh, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh, is now facing differences in the BJP over the issue of 'Go to Pakistan'.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya has defended SP Akhilesh at a time when SP's statement is being criticized. Meanwhile, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has criticized the SP's statement and demanded action against him.

SP Akhilesh Narayan Singh of Meerut city recently went viral on social media saying that some people were threatening to leave Pakistan during the outbreak of violence in the city against the citizenship reform law on December 20th.

SP Akhilesh is being criticized from all over the issue. In this regard, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, "If a policeman has said so, it should be prosecuted." However, this should be investigated. The task of police personnel is not to spread unrest but to create peace.

However, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad has come forward to defend Maurya SP. He said, SP Akhilesh did not talk about all the Muslims, who were shouting slogans in support of Pakistan while stoning. For those involved in this type of activity, the SP statement is inaccurate.

Uttar Pradesh government spokesman Shalabh Mani Tripathi also praised SP Akhilesh of Meerut. He tweeted that he had given a strong response to the mischievous elements, calling for Akhilesh Narayan Singh, SP of Meerut City, sources in Pakistan Zindabad and India.

Now some wise intellectuals are sorry that the traitors who called India Murdabad and Pakistan Zindabad asked why they should go to Pakistan. BSP president Mayawati has also demanded action against the SP.

He said that during the anti-CAA violence in Uttar Pradesh, all police personnel who commented on communal language like SP Akhilesh of Meerut should get judicial inquiry and if they are found guilty they should be removed from their job immediately.
