Congress dares to grant citizenship to all Pakistanis: Modi

Accusing the Congress of spreading lies over the new Citizenship Improvement Act (CAA), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday challenged the main opposition or, if he dared, declare that he was ready to give every citizen of Pakistan a citizenship of India.

Amid violent protests all over the country over the citizenship (reform) law, Modi had assured the countrymen, especially Muslims, that under this law no one was to take away their citizenship. Addressing an election rally in Jharkhand, Modi said that Congress was creating fear among the people, especially Muslims, about the new law.

The law is meant to provide shelter to religious minorities in three neighboring countries of India - Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Modi said he wants to know how the new citizenship law strikes the rights of Indian citizens or any citizen of the country.

He added, "I challenge the Congress and their allies if they have the courage to declare Article 370 again in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, repeal the law against three divisions, they will all be citizens of India. Ready to give.

If they do not have the strength to take up this challenge then they will stop this gorilla politics by lying to the country, making others their own shield. Modi said that after every citizen of the entire country, whether it be Hindu or Muslim - I want to convince them that this law will not affect the citizenship of any Indian.
