Veteran Congress leader Kapil Sibal also strongly criticized the Maharashtra governor during the ongoing trial of the political problem in Maharashtra this morning.
Kapil said that the governor had been waiting for the government for the last twenty days. Then why didn't he wait for another twenty-four hours? What emergency has happened that late in the night, the President took over and took the oath of office of Fadnavis at dawn?

He further said that in the twenty-four hours after the swearing-in, the government has to prove a majority and vote of confidence. Since the Fadnavis affidavit has been round the clock, the Supreme Court today should order Fadnavis a majority.
Fadnavis' lawyer, Mukul Rohatgi, expressed the opinion that a majority could be proved at any time. However, the court immediately turned to the question that you have a majority, so what is the problem today?
