US Increases H-1B Visa Fees by $ 10

The US has now increased the application fee by $ 10 after changing the selection process for H-1B work visas. It is worth mentioning that H-1B visas are the most popular among Indian IT professionals.

H-1B visas allow US companies to temporarily hire foreign workers. Bachelor's degree and special knowledge are considered in the selection of H-1B visas.

The US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) said in a statement that this non-refundable fee would support the new electronic registration system.

USCIS Executive Director Ken Cuccinelli said the decision would make the H-1B visa selection process easier.

The United States intends to implement an electronic registration system for the H-1B cap selection process from fiscal year 2021. USCIS issued a notice on September 4, 2019 regarding registration fees.
