The car will run 121km from a liter of petrol

Engineering students at SRM University in Chennai have announced that they have built a single-seater car that covers a distance of 121 km with just a liter of petrol.

These efforts have been taking place for the last one year. Out of his pocket money, 31 students made this single seater car at a cost of just Rs 3 lakh. The car can run up to 121 km on just one liter of petrol.

Carbon fiber and aluminum have been used for the car body. The first design was created by the students in January of last year. The car has a 50cc engine.

Students are planning to introduce this car at the Shell Eco Marathon held in Bengaluru from 19th to 22nd this month. A prototype model is now ready. Has not yet received his patent.
