Modi will give a green flag to the first fleet of Kartarpur travelers

The Kartarpur corridor will be open on Saturday. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will depart the caravan before the passengers who are going to India to Kartarpur corridor. The 4.5 km long corridor is being claimed to help connect Pakistan and India.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also open the passenger terminal building, also known as the checkpost. At this checkpost, pilgrims going to Kartarpur corridor will be tested.

In a statement issued by the PMO, Narendra Modi will give a green flag to the fleet of about 500 pilgrims who leave for the corridor. However, he would first visit the Bare Sahib gurudwara at Sultanpur Lodhi. After which Modi will join a public function of Dera Baba Nanak.

The corridor is being opened on the occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of the great Guru Nanak Dev. The corridor is located in the Punjab province of Pakistan. On the first day of this corridor in Narowal district, Punjab, 500 Indian devotees will visit.

Informing about this, Punjab Minister Tripit Rajinder Singh said that each member was asked to reach the destination at 10am. The building which has been prepared here is equipped with AC and every day 5000 pilgrims have been provided with facility to send after passing through the process including visa verification. The building has been built on 18 acres.
