India's first country to win four consecutive matches in historic Day-Night Test, Bangladesh cleanse

India have made history by winning the match on the third day of the first day-night Test against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens. India have beaten Bangladesh by 1 innings and 46 runs in the Kolkata Test. At the same time, the Indian team retained the top spot in the World Test Championship.

The Bangladesh team, who won the toss in the Denite Test and batted first, were dismissed at the normal score of 106. In reply, the Indian team declared 349 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.

India got a 241-run lead on the first innings. The Bangladeshi team, who took the field for the second innings, were all out for 195. With this, India has managed to win its first ever Danite Test.

In the second innings, Mushfiqur Rahim scored the highest score of 74 from Bangladesh. For India, Umesh Yadav took the highest five wickets. In the second innings too, the tourist Bangladesh team had a poor start.

Ishant Sharma struck Shadman on the duck in the fifth ball of the first over. Earlier, Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque also returned Ishant to the pavilion without opening an account.
