In Tharparkar district of Pakistan's desert area, 20 people were killed when lightning struck. Heavy rains were hit with thunderstorms at Mithi, Thar district, near Chhatchi near Islamkot Town, Ram Singh Hundred Village near Diplo Town, etc.
Lightning fires killed hundreds of cattle. Thirty people injured in rains have been admitted to hospitals in Mithi, Islamkot and Shache Town for treatment.
In the rain, dozens of habitats have collapsed. Tents and blankets are being sent from Karachi to the affected people. Life is lost throughout the diocese. Heavy rains and lightning flashes are rare in the desert.
