Facebook apologizes for black activists following racism allegations

Anonymous black employees of social media site Facebook have accused of racial discrimination in their workplace through an anonymous online post. This post was created by a profile named 'FB Blind'.

An anonymous post by a black employee of Facebook claims that managers, white associates and the human resources department are discriminating. Following a similar complaint, Facebook on Friday apologized to its employees. Bertie Thomas, vice president of corporate communications, lamented that no one should be treated as such on Facebook or elsewhere.

Anonymous Post states, "Facebook has been on the brink for the last one year. Previously, black workers were recognized, empowered, and equal. Currently, a hostile culture is being established on Facebook so that all black workers are afraid to lose their jobs and are worried that they will have to report bad behavior. '

This post also mentions negative performance reviews and inaccurate comments. Moreover, it is written, 'We are very sad, angry and distressed and frustrated with all these things. Every day, we are treated as if we were not there.
