China is upset with the FATF hanging sword on Pakistan

Paris / New Delhi, November 1, 2019, Friday

It is understandable that Pakistan is offended by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) decision to keep Pakistan on the gray list by 2020, but reported that China was experiencing more turmoil than Pakistan.

China had alleged that both India and the United States were trying to mobilize Pakistan together. China's Foreign Ministry has announced that we will never allow the two men to cross over. Originally, China was suffering from stomach pain for various reasons.

It is worth mentioning here that Imran Khan also alleged in the UN General Assembly that India wanted to put us on the FATF blacklist. Imran Khan visited China shortly thereafter and sought Chinese support on the issue. Imran Khan repeated the same in his interviews with Al Jazeera and Russia Today.

The reality is that China has invested billions of dollars in Pakistan and a number of Chinese projects are underway in Pakistan. If FATF blacklisted Pakistan, most of China's money would have to be saved in Pakistan. China has also given billions of dollars in loan payments to Pakistan, which is not Pakistan's way of paying interest. Under these circumstances, China has no choice but to support Pakistan on the issue of FATF.

That is why China supported Pakistan on the issue of Masood Azhar and Hafiz Syed being declared a Global Terrorist.
