Bhima Army extended a friendship to BSP President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and said, "Let's fight the BJP together."
Bhim Army chief Chandrasekhar Azad was recently released from jail. They were jailed for violent protests in protest of the Ravidas temple demolition.
Chandrasekhar called on Mayawati to join hands with Agai. He once again wrote a letter to Mayawati and appealed that we would fight against the current anti-Dalit activities of the present government. You shake hands with us.
Chandrasekhar wrote in the letter, “I believe that only Bahujan Samaj has to solve the current problems of the country. If there is a problem, it should be pointed out. Come to the present situation, let us sit together and resolve the differences.

Chandrasekhar, a resident of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, calls Mayawati as a bui (foi) but is not friendly between the two. However, Chandrasekhar firmly believes that Mayawati has the potential to replace the Prime Minister. He also expressed his desire that Mayawati should become Prime Minister.
However, Mayawati considers her a competitor and fears that her presence will be shaken by her presence. So Chandrasekhar has been avoiding it till this happens.
