The possibility of an outbreak of epidemic any time in Patna, flood water has not yet flowed

Patna Date: 4 October 2019, Friday

With the recent heavy rains and floods in rivers, the stagnant water in Patna, the capital of Bihar, has not yet been drained, and now it is spreading the smell of garbage in the water. There is no denying the possibility of a serious pandemic outbreak at any time.

Rivers were flooded due to heavy rains between September 27 and 30 and affected a total of eighteen to nineteen lakh people in 85 talukas and 1189 villages of 14 districts, including Patna, Bhojpur, Bhagalpur, Nawada and Nalanda. Patna, the capital of Bihar, is still filled with water in many areas that have not been drained.

The state government has claimed that 979 government and voluntary organizations are involved in relief work. Mass kitchens were started and food packets are being distributed to people in flooded areas. A spokesman for the government claimed that 366 such collective kitchens are currently active and 56 relief camps are under way.

There are also claims that a total of 21 teams of National Disaster Relief Force and State Disaster Relief Force are doing relief work. The main thing is why the pooled water in Patna has not yet flowed. Angry citizens were asking why it was not arranged.

When the media questioned Chief Minister Nitish Kumar about this, the enraged Nitish Kumar had all the time questioned that America is not flooded? Are there new floods we have come across?
