Sunni Waqf Board will withdraw Ayodhya case, lose possession of disputed land

New delhi date. Wednesday 16 October 2019

The Sunni Waqf Board has learned that it has decided to withdraw its application in the ongoing Ayodhya case in the Supreme Court. Daily hearing has been going on in the Supreme Court for the last 39 days. Today is the 40th day and today's hearing is likely to be completed when the Sunni Waqf Board made this decision.

The affidavit prepared by the chairman of the Sunni Waqf Board sent the Supreme Court-appointed Central Committee member, Shri Ram Panchu. Chief Justice of the country Ranjan Gogoi announced that the hearing will be closed by 5 pm this evening.

The Sunni Waqf Board also decided to relinquish its possession of the disputed land. The other side, the Chief Justice, refused to allow anyone other than the two major parties to intervene in the case.

A lawyer sought leave in the Supreme Court to allow me to appear on the issue, but the Chief Justice explicitly refused permission and ordered the hearing to be completed before 5pm this evening.

When the court started, the Chief Justice gave 45 minutes to the Hindu party lawyer CS Vaidyanathan to present his case. Additionally, four minutes of 45 slots were given to other parties.

Hindu party advocate said that Hindu people have never broken the places of other religions by going out of the country. On the other hand, non-Hindu factors from outside have continually demolished Hindu places of worship. History is a witness to that.
