Saudi Arabia Accidents - 35 foreigners killed

Riyadh, 17th October 2019, Thursday

Saudi Arabia has officially announced that 35 foreigners have been killed in a tragic accident in the holy city of Madinah.

The fatal accident occurred when a bus full of foreign passengers collided with an oncoming vehicle. The cause of the accident was not yet known. The injured were shifted to the hospital.

On receiving the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a condolence message. According to local media reports, most of the passengers killed were Arab and Asian pilgrims. The fire in the bus was so huge in the wake of the accident that the glass windows of the bus were also blown up.

According to one opinion, illegally parked vehicles on the side of the road in Mecca Medina do not show up at night, so vehicles that come in extremely high speeds collide with such parked vehicles. Millions of Muslims come here every year to perform Hajj. However, now the Saudi Arabian government has ordered that the retro reflective tape be mandatory for each vehicle to shine in front of or behind the lights.
