Defense Minister flew 30 minutes to Rafale, 'Rafal' means 'thunderstorm' and this aircraft will work like a blind: Rajnath

Marinec (France), Ta. October 8, 2019, Tuesday

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived on a French trip, was today handed over a fighter aircraft raffle by France. Of course, this was a formal ceremony. Currently the aircraft has been handed over, but the first four aircraft will be available to India in May-2020. Today is the founding day of the Indian Air Force.

To save the occasion, France gave Dasol Aviation a fighter aircraft, Rafael, to the defense minister, Rajnath Singh. Rajnath Singh had flown the aircraft as per Indian tradition. This ceremony of aircraft assignment took place at the factory in Marinec, Dasol Aviation. Florence Parley, France's Defense Minister, was also present.

Rajnath Singh wrote the first word on the cockpit of this plane with a kumkum. After that, floral and coconut plated on the plane. Lemons were placed near the landing gear of the aircraft. According to Indian tradition, weapons are worshiped on Dussehra day. Rafael, the most deadly weapon found in India, was also worshiped in France.

On the occasion, Rajnath Singh said that the word Rafal in the French language means blind. I hope this plane works the same as a hurricane. He also said that the Rafale aircraft we are not buying to offend anyone but to protect the Indian Vasu border.

That means Ruffle's roll is not offensive, defensive. Rajnath Singh made a short flight 30 minutes (short) after the plane was surrendered. At the time, he was sitting in the back seat and the plane was flown by French pilot Philip Duchet.

Duchet is Dassol's chief pilot trainer. While flying, Rajnath Singh said that Indian Air Force is the fourth largest air force in the world. Also included in the medium-roller compact aircraft (MMRCA) raffle will be the Air Force Power.

Generally defense deals last for years and delivery is delayed. But Rafael is getting timely, Rajnath Singh expressed his happiness.

French Defense Minister Florence said, "We are delighted to give the aircraft on this occasion of Vijayadashmi." These planes are specially designed to suit the needs of India. The deal will also strengthen the relations between the two countries.

India has signed a deal to buy 36 Rafale fighter jets from France. The first of these aircraft was given to the Minister of Defense in France today. But the first four aircraft will be available to India in May-2020.

While all 36 aircraft are expected to be available to India by September 2022. Rajnath Singh also met with French President Emmanuel Macron before the Rafale ceremony.

What is Raffle's specialty?

The Rafal is a 'Medium Multi Roller Compact Aircraft (MMRCA)' type aircraft. That means his job is to play more than one type of role. The key is to protect the Indian airspace and establish dominance in the airspace. Roll Ruffle can play together to target more than one location, precise targeting of air to land, protecting other airplanes, hitting a ship with air. India is buying this aircraft from a French company called Dasol Aviation. But apart from Dassol, two other French companies have also been subcontracted. DRDO from India is also involved in the production of raffle. The first batch of raffles will be set up at the century-old Ambala Air Force Station. The second batch will be set up at Hashimara Airbase in West Bengal. The French Air Force uses these planes. Apart from India, Qatar and Egypt also bought raffles in 2015. Current Air Force experts, including RSK Bhadouriya, have said that Rafale's presence will greatly benefit Indian Air Security.

Rafal's political controversy

Rafael has been a victim of political controversy since the beginning. At present, India has signed 36 aircraft for Rs 59,000 crore. Earlier, the UPA government had prepared to buy 126 planes. The total deal at that time was estimated to be Rs.186,000 crore. But before the deal was done, the government had changed. The Congress alleges that the present BJP government is buying fewer planes at a higher price. Corruption is happening somewhere. The government says the technology that comes with these planes has become better equipped, so the price has increased. Rafael's controversy continued to intensify and at one point it was alleged that the Prime Minister's Office was interfering in the deal to benefit Anil Ambani. The government dismissed all those things and put forward the deal.
