Pakistan issued a special coin on Guru Nanak's 550th birth anniversary

Pakistan issued a special commemorative coin to commemorate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, a Sikh.

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan shared a photograph of this special coin on Facebook. The coin is priced at fifty rupees in Pakistan Rupee. In addition, the Pakistani government also announced a special postage stamp.

This postage ticket is worth eight Pakistani rupees. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan will formally inaugurate the two monuments on November 8th.

On the ninth of November is Guru Nanak's 550th birth anniversary.

On this occasion, India and Pakistan also established the Kartarpur Corridor. Kartarpur, located in Narowal district of Pakistan, across the river Ravi, is being connected with Deba Baba Nanak located in Gurdaspur in Punjab, India.

The area is only four kilometers away from Dera Baba Nanak. Through Kartarpur corridor, 5,000 Indian pilgrims will be able to visit Darbar Sahib where Guru Nanak spent the last 18 years of his life's evening.
