Last hearing of Ayodhya dispute today, Sunni Waqf Board and Saints meet

New Delhi, October 16, 2019 Wednesday

The daily proceedings in the Supreme Court for the last one and half months on the Ayodhya dispute are likely to be almost complete today. In those circumstances a kind of tension was practicing in the air.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh announced to hold a meeting of its leaders and activists from 31st October to 4th November. The Muslim party recently submitted that we are asked the most questions during the reversal.

Muslim intellectuals also suggested that we are ready to give the controversial land to the Hindus. In return, we must ensure that the central government accepts responsibility for the protection of other Muslim shrines. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, both parties made a public statement that we would respect the Supreme Court's decision.

In this case, no political leader has said anything but on Monday, BSP's Mayawati made a public statement that everyone should uphold the country's highest court verdict.

The Supreme Court had earlier suggested that the matter be settled at a table outside the court by deliberating the matter. The Supreme Court also constituted a central committee, headed by a retired judge. But after the efforts of this committee failed, the Supreme Court started a daily hearing.

Today is the 40th day of the hearing.
