Delhi banned use of generators, pollution increased alarmingly

New delhi date. Wednesday 16 October 2019

Air pollution has been banned in the country's capital, New Delhi, due to the increasing use of generators except emergency.

According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) report, in some areas of Delhi, the population has difficulty breathing. There is no denying the possibility of a significant increase in the number of respiratory patients day by day.

If the air quality index is numbered from zero to fifty, fine, from fifty to 100, would be considered quite satisfactory. 100 to 200 are considered middle class. The index that comes next is bad.

In some areas of Delhi, 250 to 300 AQI was recorded. In Dwarka sector, 359 were registered in Delhi Technological University area, 343 in Bawana, 342 in Mundaka, 312 in Anand Vihar, 319 in Rohini and 308 in Greater Noida.

According to the latest report, the use of generators was imposed in Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Sonipat, Panipat and Bahadurgarh.

According to the Environmental Institute, the quality of air in Delhi has fallen to 'worse' level. It is still winter.

Fireworks that explode in Diwali will increase pollution. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has publicly appealed for restraint on fireworks.
