Asim Omar, an al-Qaeda terrorist of Indian origin, was killed in Afghanistan

Asim Omar, the chief of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda's Indian Territory, has been executed in Afghanistan. He was killed in a joint operation by the US and Afghan forces.

The army took action on Taliban outposts in Afghanistan's Helmand area. Afghan officials confirmed this on Tuesday. India-born Asim Omar was among the most wanted al-Qaeda terrorists.

He was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. Asim Omar was considered very close to al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Jawahiri. In 2014, Asim Omar was made head of the Al-Qaeda organization for the Indian region.

The aim of this organization was to spread terror in India, Myanmar and Bangladesh. Asim Omar was shot dead on September 23 in a joint operation by Afghan and US forces, but Afghan officials announced Tuesday morning.

The threat was the same for Assam India, as he was responsible for all the terrorist activities carried out by al-Qaeda in India. Officials said six other al-Qaeda terrorists were also killed.

All of which were operating around the Indian territory, most of them Pakistani. It also includes Rihann, who worked as a courier between Al Jawahari and Asim.

Asim, 40, was declared a global terrorist by the United States in 2016. Asim Omar also threatened to attack the US and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi by making videos in 2015, calling him an enemy of Islam.

According to officials, the terrorists were killed in the Musa Qala district of Afghanistan. They were all hiding in a Taliban camp. According to Indian agencies, Asim was a resident of Sambal district in Uttar Pradesh.

He had left home in the 90s and later came out against being a Pakistani. Asim Umar also made many videos in recent years with the intention of spreading terror in India.
