Angela Merkel will visit India with a ministerial level delegation

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit India on Thursday with a delegation of 12 ministers and will discuss various bilateral issues with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This information was given by Walter J. Lindner, German Ambassador to India. According to sources, during Merkel's visit to New Delhi, there will be about 20 agreements between India and Germany in different areas.

"There is a long-standing relationship between India and Germany and there is potential for cooperation in different areas in the future," Lindner said. Talking about the Kashmir issue between the two leaders, he said that the two leaders have a close relationship and they can discuss any issue.

He said that bilateral meetings are expected to be held with the Indian counterpart of the ministers involved in the delegation. Merkel will also interact with Indian women who influence society.
