A reward of Rs 51 lakh was announced for Kamlesh's assassin

The murderer of Hindu leader Kamlesh Tiwari was informed that some Muslim clerics had announced a reward of Rs. 5 lakh. Uttar Pradesh police have also arrested two Maulana in this regard.

Anwarul Haq and Mufti Naim Kasami were taken from different places in Uttar Pradesh. Anwarul Haque was arrested from an Asian colony in the Nagi area.

In 2015, the two Maulana announced a prize of Rs 5 lakh to Kamlesh Tiwari's head-shaver. Maulana Anwarul Haque was also named in the FIR filed by the wife of Kamlesh Tiwari, so the police arrested Anwarul Haque.

One of the killers gave a sweet look to Kamlesh and one fired a knife from the box and the other fired a gun. One of the killers cut Kamlesh's throat with a knife while the other opened fire on him.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister .Yogi Adityanath immediately formed a Special Investigative Team. These included Lucknow Inspector General SK Bhagat, Lucknow Police Superintendent (Crime) Dinesh Puri and Deputy Police Superintendent PK Mishra of the Special Investigative Team. Yogi sought the full report of the incident with the Home Secretary, the Home Secretary and the DGP of the state.
