Trump has once again offered mediation on the Kashmir issue

Washington, Ta. September 10, 2019, Tuesday

US President Donald Trump has again intervened in India and Pakistan, claiming that the US is ready to mediate on Kashmir. However, Trump's statement comes when India has clearly stated that neither the US nor any other country has the right to intervene in the Kashmir issue. This is our internal matter.

Donald Trump has also said that the tensions between India and Pakistan a week ago are not right now, both countries are heading for peace now. Donald Trump claimed that we have spoken to the heads of both countries and are ready to provide all kinds of help. However, the tensions between the two a week ago have changed drastically.

Trump said he was ready to help in any way he could if he needed it. Earlier, Donald Trump had said that the US was ready to mediate over Kashmir.

However, India had made it very clear that Kashmir is our personal stake and that no interference will be tolerated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi even made it clear when he met Trump during a G-7 visit to France. Now days after Modi's visit, Trump has said that there is more peace between the two countries and we are ready to intervene.
