There are 21 new nuclear reactors in the country, planned to be completed by 2024-25

The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has announced that 21 new nuclear reactors are being built to meet the growing electricity demand in the country.

DAE Secretary KN Vyas informed on Wednesday that it is our responsibility to increase our atomic energy and to fulfill our social responsibility. Currently 21 new nuclear reactors are in various stages of construction.

Once this is done, we will receive 15,000 MW of additional electricity. There are huge plans to transmit electricity from home to villages in every intimate area of ​​the country.

He further said that the central government has in principle approved the plan to construct five more nuclear reactors. By 20131, we plan to dilute all these reactors.

Currently there are nine Atomic Electricity Reactors in various stages of construction which we have a name to complete by 2024-25.
