Ratul Puri, who is accused of laundering money in a Westland helicopter scam, was sent to a Delhi court on a six-day remand.

The Enforcement Directorate is currently working against it. Ratul Puri is the nephew of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Kamal Nath. Special Court Justice Arvind Kumar sent Ratul on remand till September 11. Ratul, like P Chidambaram, made many attempts to escape the clutches of the law.

Ratul is now in the custody of ED by a court order. The court said the ED had to inquire into Ratul over the details of the documents he had received from the ED. He is assigned to the custody of the ED.

The court also ordered the ED to allow Puri to undergo medical examination as per the doctor's advice. Puri argued that his condition was not good and he was under medical treatment. That is why the court ordered such. ED was also advised to meet two of his lawyers in the morning, between nine and ten in the morning and five to six in the evening.
