US President Donald Trump has said that several attempts have been made to ease the tense situation between India and Pakistan and he will hold meetings with the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan soon.

US President Donald Trump will be on stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a mega show 'Howdy Modi' on September 22 in Houston and will address more than 50,000 Indian Americans. However, no announcement has been made as to when US President Donald Trump will meet with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Trump said in the White House, "I will meet with the prime ministers of India and Pakistan."

Trump, who has twice proposed mediation on the Kashmir issue this time, said without mentioning the tense relations between Kashmir or South Asian neighbors, "I believe there have been several attempts to reduce tensions between the two countries." According to President Trump's program, he is expected to meet Imran Khan during the annual general meeting of the United Nations in New York later this year.

After addressing Indo-Americans in the 'Howdy Modi' program, Trump will travel to Ohio and from there he is expected to travel to New York to address the United Nations General Assembly. Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will address the UN General Assembly on September 27.
