India will spend $ 130 billion on modernization of defense forces in five to seven years

Over the next five to seven years, India will spend $ 130 billion on Army modernization. The government has prepared a comprehensive plan to strengthen the defense capabilities of the military, an official document said.

The government has decided to prepare a comprehensive plan to expedite the modernization of the Army, Navy and Air Force. Under which the necessary weapons, missiles, warplanes, boats and ships will be purchased in the coming years.

He said that the Army would be modernized first. Under which the first 2600 Infantry Combat Vehicles will be purchased for the Army. In addition, another 1700 combat vehicles will be purchased in the future.

The first 110 multiroll fighter aircraft to be purchased in the Air Force. Defense forces are being adequately funded so that they can fight together on both the North and the West. According to sources, the Indian government knows that China is making its army more powerful. It has also been decided to modernize the Indian Navy and Air Force to counter the Chinese Navy and Air Force.

The Indian Navy will have 200 aircraft, 500 aircraft and 24 attack submarines in the next three to four years. Currently the Indian Navy has 132 ships, 220 aircraft and 15 submarines. According to sources, the government wants to increase the capacity of all types of Indian Air Force.

It also includes combat capabilities. The government wants to set up a mega defense project for the Indian Air Force in Delhi and Mumbai. Soon the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System fire-five will be included in the Air Force. The missile has a range of 5,000 km and is capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

Very few countries, such as the United States, China, Russia, France and North Korea, have intercontinental ballistic missiles. Talking about the missile, India currently has a firearm-700 with a range of 700 km, a fire-2 with a range of 2000 km, a fire-3 with a range of 2500 km and a fire-4 missile with a range of 3500 km.

According to sources, the government is focusing on the development of the Domestic Defense Industry. In this regard, important decisions are likely to be announced in the next two months.
